Analysis of your key equipment’s lubrication is a key factor in analyzing equipment lubrication conditions to maximize uptime and reliability. SEMEQ offers a world class oil analysis techniques and tests to ensure your organization the best possible information with regards to your lubricated components. Combined with SEMEQ’s other monitoring services, oil analysis results are utilized to easily diagnose pending equipment failures as well as lubrication needs.

SEMEQ also has a full time team of equipment “Doctors” who evaluate the results of analysis over time and prescribe steps that your company can take to improve the over-all lubrication processes that are being deployed.  For example, after months of seeing oil water saturation rates being continually too high, SEMEQ did an analysis of the processes involved with the given piece of equipment and learned that the equipment was being hosed down each day for cleaning with a plain water hose. SEMEQ suggested changing the procedure and changing sealant, and the water problem vanished.

On-Site oil sampling and laboratory analysis:

▪    SEMEQ inspector collects oil samples from mutually selected critical equipment

▪    Samples are labeled, packaged and shipped to our laboratories for detailed analysis

▪   In collaboration with our analysts, the on-site technicians input set-up data, route information, and key lubricant properties for each piece of equipment to be sampled

▪    SEMEQ inspectors perform route based sampling monthly, quarterly or semi-annually depending on the criticality of the equipment scheduled for sampling and analysis

▪    Oil sample data from the analysis are then reported back to the individual inspector so the technician sees immediate results and can then take any actions as needed

▪    The sampling results are also available via SEMEQ’s industry leading customer portal, Mysemeq, which is accessible via the Internet

▪    Mysemeq compiles trend data for each piece of equipment as well as consolidated equipment information of multiple PdM technologies and inspections

▪    The results are clear and concise. If SEMEQ’s analysts detect any potential issues, they immediately report these results and prescribe a recommendation
