Accoustic Emmision Analysis

Inspection of key air and gas conveyance components in a facility can greatly reduce the chance of a major disruption in critical systems dependent on these supplies. This inspection technique is also known to save companies significant monies by locating easy to repair faults.  The repair of these faults produces immediate results.  By using sensitive acoustic equipment and employing advanced analytical techniques, SEMEQ can help you “hear” what get’s audibly drowned out in the day to day activity of a normal production facility.

On-Site acoustic emissions analysis:

▪    SEMEQ ultrasound technicians perform a full site survey of mutually selected critical equipment and areas

▪    SEMEQ technicians relay all acoustic survey data our analysis lab

▪    In collaboration with our analysts, the on-site technicians input set-up data, route information, and key monitoring properties for each piece of equipment or area

▪    SEMEQ technicians perform route based ultrasound data collection monthly, quarterly or semi-annually depending on the criticality of the equipment or area

▪    Acoustic data is streamed from the technician’s computer to the analysts in the lab in real time and can be downloaded 24 hours a day 7 days a week

▪    The results from the analysis are streamed back to the inspector so the technician sees immediate results and can then take any actions as needed

▪    These results are also available via SEMEQ’s industry leading customer portal, Mysemeq, which is accessible via the Internet

▪    Mysemeq compiles trend data for equipment or areas as well as consolidated equipment information of multiple PdM technologies and inspections

▪    The results are clear and concise. If SEMEQ’s analysts detect any potential issues, they immediately report these results and prescribe a recommendation
